About IPTiger — a Canadian IPTV service built on expensive infrastructure

IPTiger exists because the two things that actually decide whether an IPTV service is any good — the server it runs on and the person who answers when something breaks — are the two things most providers cut first. We spend on both.

What we are

IPTiger is a subscription IPTV service operating from Toronto and serving households across Canada. We deliver live television, a 150,000-title video-on-demand library, a complete electronic programme guide and seven-day catch-up, all through the IBO Player application on one authorised device per subscription.

We are a reseller of licensed stream packages, not a broadcaster. We do not host, record or originate any of the content that passes through the service. What we own and control is the delivery layer: the edge servers, the load balancing, the subscriber panel and the support desk.

The three things we spend money on

Servers and hosting

Canadian edge nodes in Toronto and Montréal with 10 Gbps of transit, provisioned for roughly four times an average evening's load so that playoff nights behave like ordinary Tuesdays. Measured uptime across the last twelve months is 99.9 percent, with no unplanned outage longer than four minutes.

The content list

More than 23,000 live channels and over 150,000 VOD titles, rebuilt nightly. Canadian networks, the full Québec grid, NHL and CFL coverage, and the multicultural packs that Canadian cable quietly dropped — Punjabi, Hindi, Tamil, Arabic, Filipino, Portuguese, Italian, Greek, Polish and more.

People who answer

A bilingual support team on WhatsApp and email seven days a week. Lines are provisioned by hand rather than by an automated panel, which is slower for us and considerably more reliable for you.

How we work

Everything is deliberately simple. There is one product with five term lengths, and every term carries the identical channel grid — nothing is reserved for a higher tier. Prices are fixed in Canadian dollars, charged once, with no automatic renewal and no stored card. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.

One subscription means one device streaming at a time. That limit is what keeps the servers uncontended and the picture stable, so we enforce it rather than selling multi-screen add-ons we could not deliver honestly. We support IBO Player and nothing else, for the same reason: one application we know inside out beats five we half-support. The setup guide covers it end to end.

Nothing here is given away at zero cost. The entry point is the paid CA$10.99 intro month, which carries the complete line-up. We would rather a new subscriber pay a small amount and see the real product than collect an email address in exchange for a throttled demo.

Where our subscribers are

The largest concentrations are in the Greater Toronto Area, Montréal, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Mississauga, Québec City and Halifax, with steady growth through smaller Ontario and Maritime communities where cable pricing is hardest to justify. Rated 4.8 out of 5 across 1,476 verified subscriber reviews. If you want to see the catalogue before committing, the channel directory is fully public.

Working with us

Shops, technicians and independent installers can buy credit at wholesale through the reseller programme and provision lines from their own panel. Everything else — questions, faults, refunds under the published policy — goes through support.
