IPTiger FAQ — Canadian IPTV questions answered
The twelve questions our Canadian subscribers ask most, answered directly. If yours is not here, WhatsApp support replies in under thirty minutes during business hours.
IPTiger is a Canadian IPTV subscription that delivers live television, video-on-demand and a full electronic programme guide over your existing internet connection. There is no dish, no coaxial run and no installer appointment. You receive a set of credentials, enter them once in the IBO Player application, and the same 23,000-channel grid appears on whichever device you activated.
One. Each IPTiger subscription authorises playback on a single device at a time — that is a hard limit, not a tier you can upgrade. If you need a second screen in the house, order a second line. Attempting to stream two devices on one line will interrupt both.
IBO Player, and only IBO Player. It is the single application IPTiger is tuned for and the only one our support team troubleshoots. It runs on Android phones and boxes, Fire TV Stick, Windows 10 and 11, macOS, iOS, Roku, and non-Android smart TVs including LG WebOS and Samsung Tizen.
Lines are provisioned by hand, typically in under fifteen minutes during Canadian business hours and always the same day. You receive your credentials on WhatsApp, together with a one-page walkthrough for your specific device.
Yes, but not at zero cost. Every IPTiger plan is paid. The entry point is the Try 1 Month plan at CA$10.99, which carries the complete channel grid and the complete VOD library with nothing held back. If you decide to stay, the remaining days are credited against a longer term.
Fifteen megabits per second handles HD comfortably. Twenty-five is the practical floor for 4K streams. What matters more than raw speed is stability — a wired Ethernet connection to your streaming box eliminates the majority of playback complaints we receive, particularly in apartment buildings with congested Wi-Fi.
Extensively. TVA, Radio-Canada, Noovo, Télé-Québec, RDS and RDS 2, TVA Sports, Canal D, Canal Vie, Addik TV, Z Télé, Super Écran, Historia and LCN are all in the grid, alongside the French VOD catalogue and the major French networks from France. Our support team answers in French as a matter of course.
Yes. Full-season coverage runs across the Sportsnet and TSN groups, with regional feeds for Toronto, Montréal, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Winnipeg, plus the pay-per-view event channels. Playoff nights are the load we size our Canadian edge servers around.
First, restart the application — that resolves most single-channel issues within seconds. If it persists, message support with the channel name and the time. Streams are load-balanced across multiple sources, so a failing source is usually swapped out within the hour. Our measured uptime across the last twelve months is 99.9 percent.
Never. Nothing is charged after your term ends and no card details are stored on our side. When a subscription expires, playback stops and your line stays reserved for thirty days, so renewing later keeps the same credentials.
Yes. Message support with the new device type and your line is reset to it, usually within the hour. Six- and twelve-month subscribers get free resets; shorter terms get two resets per term.
All sales are final once a line is activated, because access is delivered immediately. Two exceptions apply: a verified outage exceeding seventy-two consecutive hours earns a pro-rata credit, and duplicate charges are refunded in full. The full terms are on the refund policy page.
Where to look next
Questions about what is actually in the line-up are best answered by the lists themselves: the live TV directory shows every channel group, while the film catalogue and series catalogue cover the on-demand side.
Questions about money are covered on the pricing page and, for the exceptions, the refund policy. Anything else goes to support, which answers in English and French seven days a week.
